The old Nepean, now part of the City of Ottawa, stretches west of Ottawa from the Ottawa River in the northwest, to the Rideau River in the east, and down into rich rural countryside in the south. Future residents can choose among dozens of neighbourhoods, each with a particular charm. In Nepean you will find all ages of homes, mid-sized single family homes, townhomes and condominium apartments.

Older Nepean communities include Crystal Bay, Rocky Pointe which were joined in the 50s and 60s’ by Meadowlands, Parkwood Hills, Fisher Heights, Pine Glen, Carleton Heights and more. Nepean has a transitway extending to Centrepointe with a park-and ride lot and express routes to downtown Ottawa.

Green spaces offers both wilderness and nature trails. Here you will discover a city proud of its rural roots. Barrhaven ( refer to its separate section) is also part of the old Nepean Section.
