Goulburn Township, now part of the City of Ottawa used to included villages  such as Stittsville, Ashton, Munster and Amberwood have maintained a balance between rural lifestyle and big-city benefits. Stittsville is now covered under Kanata due to its proximity and recent fast development into an important suburb of Ottawa.
