Barrhaven and Riverside South ( if you can change it on the map also)

In the community of Nepean and Gloucester, just south of the Greenbelt are Barrhaven and Riverside South. They are now linked by a Bridge. These two fast growing communities provide a wide variety of housing like the other suburbs, singles, townhouses and apartments.

Barrhaven started essentially to be known as such in the 70’s and is still growing featuring access to the Via Rail Train, and a number of Fitness Facilities including the well known Walter Baker Centre, plenty of shopping centres and community parks and golf courses. Riverside South  is a more recent community, close to the Ottawa International Airport and with its new connection to Barrhaven via the new white bridge is growing and providing another alternative to families and professionals wanting to be close to the new DND and RCMP employment nodes in the west of Ottawa. Barrhaven`s direct access to HWY 416 leading to Toronto and its region makes a preferred location for families with ties in southern Ontario. Riverside South provides quick access to the airport.
