Orléans section of Ottawa is a family-oriented community in the National Capital Region. It offers a whole range of amenities and services. Miles of trails and pathways for biking, walking and cross-country skiing along the Ottawa River. Orléans is located to the East of the Parliament Building about a 15-20 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa depending on where you live within the community, and is located outside the Greenbelt. Probably the most bilingual section of the City of Ottawa, it also ( as of 2015) has the highest level of education in the region. The proximity to many employers in Orléans and the nearby Blair area makes it a great place to live for both families and professionals alike. Its easy access to Hwy 417 via Trim Rd also makes it a privileged location for those with family in Quebec or Hawkesbury/Cornwall area.
